egumis or the electronic Government unclaimed moneys onformation system is an online portal manage by the Accountant General’s Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia) (ANM) to monitor unclaimed money by financial institution, companies or firms.

It allows individuals and companies to check and claim unclaimed money that may be owed to them.

How to check your unclaimed funds

Claiming funds through eGUMIS involve a few straightforward step:

Register / Login

  • Visit the eGUMIS portal
  • Register by providing your personal details or login if you already have an account.
  • Search for unclaimed money

Submit a claim:

  • If you find unclaimed money you can submit a a claim through the portal, you’ll need to provide necessary documentation to prove your identity and entitlement to the funds.
  • This might include your NRIC, proof of address and any relevant documents related to the unclaimed money.

Verification:

  • The Accountant General’s Department will review your claim and verify the provided documents.

Receive Funds:

  • Once your claim is approved the funds will be transferred into your bank account and you will be notified via email or through the portal about the status of your claim

  • Add your payee details if you find your unclaimed money
  • Upload any required documents to verify your claim
  • Received payment after your claim is processed and approved and the payment will make into your designated account.
