egumis or the electronic Government unclaimed moneys onformation system is an online portal manage by the Accountant General’s Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia) (ANM) to monitor unclaimed money by financial institution, companies or firms.
It allows individuals and companies to check and claim unclaimed money that may be owed to them.
How to check your unclaimed funds
Claiming funds through eGUMIS involve a few straightforward step:
Register / Login
- Visit the eGUMIS portal
- Register by providing your personal details or login if you already have an account.
- Search for unclaimed money
Submit a claim:
- If you find unclaimed money you can submit a a claim through the portal, you’ll need to provide necessary documentation to prove your identity and entitlement to the funds.
- This might include your NRIC, proof of address and any relevant documents related to the unclaimed money.
Verification:
- The Accountant General’s Department will review your claim and verify the provided documents.
Receive Funds:
- Once your claim is approved the funds will be transferred into your bank account and you will be notified via email or through the portal about the status of your claim

also known as “flexible account” is one of the three accounts introduced by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) in Malaysia.

New Contributions Allocation
Starting from May 11, 2024 new contributions will be credited across three account as 75%, 15% and 10%. Existing balances in account 1 & 2 will remain and Account flexible 3 will start with Zero.

In between May 12, 2024 to August 31, 2024 all member will have a one-time option to transfer part of their Account 2 (Account Sejahtera ) savings balance to Account 3* and this action cannot be cancelled once completed.
Withdraw
Minimum withdrawal amount of RM50 from Account Flexible 3 can be make through the KWSP i-Akaun app or nearest branches, once processed the funds will be disbursed directly into EPF member’s bank account.
